Ivana (Zoran) Dinić je rođena 06. 04. 1987. godine u Zaječaru. Osnovnu i srednju medicinsku školu završila je u Zaječaru. Godine 2006. upisala je osnovne akademske studije na Tehnološko-metalurškom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu, studijski program Hemijska tehnologija, studijsko područje Farmaceutsko inženjerstvo. Diplomirala je 12.09.2011. sa završnim radom na temu „Uticaj jona bakra na difuziona svojstva bakar/poli(2-hidroksietil akrilat/itakonska kiselina) hibridnih hidrogelova“. Master akademske studije upisala je 2011. godine na studijskom programu biohemijsko inženjerstvo i biotehnologija. Odbranom master rada sa temom „Optimizacija enzimske sinteze floridzil-oleata metodom odzivnih površina“ završila je master akademske studije 25.09.2012. Doktorske akademske studije upisala je školske 2012/2013 na smeru biohemijsko inženjerstvo i biotehnologija. Odbranom doktorske disertacije pod nazivom Sinteza i karakterizacija biokompatibilnih optički aktivnih fluorida retkih zemalja, završila je doktorske akademske studije 01. 02. 2019.

Od 03.07.2017 do 31.08.2020. godine je bila zaposlena u Inovacionom centru Hemijskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu, i angažovana na projektu OI172035 Racionalni dizajn i sinteza biološki aktivnih i koordinacionih jedinjenja i funkcionalnih materijala, relevantnih u (bio)nanotehnologiji Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja RS. Takođe je bila angažovana i na projektu bilateralnih istraživanja sa Slovenijom (2018-2019): Nanostrukturni i mezoporozni funkcionalni materijali sa izraženim fotokatalitičkim osobinama u UV i vidljivom delu spektra (projekt koordinatori dr Vladislav Rac, Poljoprivredni fakultet UB, i dr Srečo Škapin, Institut „Jozef Štefan“, Ljubljana, Slovenija). Od 01. 09. 2020. godine zaposlena je u Institutu tehničkih nauka SANU.

Član je Srpskog keramičkog društva, organizacionog odbora međunarodne konferencije Advanced Ceramic and Application, i tehničkog komiteta međunarodne konferencije YUCOMAT i Konferencije Mladih istraživača (YRC).

Oblast interesovanja: sinteza i karakterizacija optički aktivnih nanostrukturnih materijala sa potencijalnom primenom u biomedicini.
