Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Miodrag Zdujić, a Principal Research Fellow, was born in Belgrade on April 12, 1954. After secondary school, he entered the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, where he graduated at the Department of Chemical Engineering in 1980. Starting from 1982, he has been employed at the Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, where he has worked in the field of materials science. He received his MSc degree in material science at the Centre for Multidisciplinary Sciences of the University of Belgrade in 1986. He spent one and half years (1988-1990) at the School of Metallurgy and Materials Science, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University, as a scholar of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Japanese Government. There he worked on the synthesis of novel (nanocrystalline and amorphous) materials by mechanical alloying. He received his PhD degree at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of the University of Belgrade in 1996.

Between 2006 and 2012, Dr. Miodrag Zdujić was the editor of the journal “Hemijska industrija”. He is a member of Serbian Chemical Society, Society of Physical Chemists of Serbia, and the  Association of Chemical Engineers.

The scientific interests of Dr. Miodrag Zdujić mainly belong to the field of materials science, particularly the preparation of metallic and ceramic powders and investigation of phenomena that occur during mechanochemical treatment.
