5th International Technology Transfer Days BIOMATERIALS 2009
February 19–20, 2009, Erfurt (Germany)

The "5th TTTB" will be held as the Final Conference of "INCOMAT", a specific support action financed by the EC. One of the main task of INCOMAT is to identify where biomedical research could make a significant impact on the quality of life of all European Citizens including those of Eastern Balkan Countries and Newly Independent States. In this context the most important objective of the "5th International Technology Transfer Days BIOMATERIALS 2009" is to identify the scientific areas where "cutting-edge" developments could provide the supportive technology platform for innovative implants for hard tissue applications. For this reason the "5th TTTB" will focus on the following thematic aspects: Bone Tissue Engineering / Bioactive and biomimetic coatings for enhanced bone interactions / In-vitro and in-vivo testing for osseointegration / Quality assurance and certification of medical products.
