Blagojević Vladimir je diplomirao na Fakultetu za fizičku hemiju 2002. godine (prosek 8,3) sa temom „Sinteza i karakterizacija amorfnih prahova metala“, stekavši zvanje diplomiranog fizikohemičara. Iste godine je upisao postdiplomske studije na Univerzitetu Kolumbija (SAD), odsek za hemiju. Doktorirao je odbranivši doktorsku tezu pod nazivom „Sinteza i fizička svojstva oksida vanadijuma i titanijuma“ 7. avgusta 2007. godine. 2008. i 2009. godine je bio postdoktorant na Univerzitetu Voterlu (Kanada), gde je radio na funkcionalizaciji kvantnih tačaka i sintezi multiferoičnih materijala dopiranjem barijum-titanata. Od 2009-2015. je radio kao samostalni istraživač na projektima u saradnji sa prof. Dragicom Minić (Fakultet za fizičku hemiju). Takođe, rukovodio je projektom modifikacije titanijum-oksidnih elektroda za solarne ćelije (u saradnji sa Univerzitetom „Tor Vergata“ u Rimu, grupa prof. Di Karla) i razvojem ThermV softverskog paketa za termičku analizu, i konsultovao na razvoju nove generacije katalitičkih materijala za auto-industriju za kompaniju Vida Holdings (Kanada).

Zaposlen je u Institutu tehničkih nauka SANU od 1. aprila 2015. godine. Kao istraživač saradnik je angažovan na projektu OI 172057 pod nazivom „Usmerena sinteza, struktura i svojstva multifunkcionalnih materijala“, kojim rukovodi prof. dr Vladimir Pavlović.

Uža oblast interesovanja su obnovljivi izvori energije, teorijsko modelovanje sistema (DFT, MD, Monte Carlo) i razvoj novih katalitičkih materijala.

Recenzent je časopisa Materials Science and Engineering B, Materials Chemistry and Physics, ChemCatChem, ChemSusChem, Journal of Alloys and Compounds.
