MSc Zorka Vasiljević, BS Chem. Technol.

Zorka Vasiljević (née Đurić) was born on October 6, 1987, in Belgrade, where she also completed the primary and secondary school. She enrolled in the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade in 2006/2007. She graduated from the same faculty on September 7, 2010 (with an average grade of 8.86 on the 5-10 scale), having defended the graduation thesis titled Isolation and Obtaining of Preparations for the Treatment of Anemia in Animals at the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering. The same year she enrolled in the MSc programme at the Department of Chemical Engineering. She completed he master's studies with an average grade of 10.0 by defending her MSc thesis titled Morphological Analysis of the Membranes of Erythrocytes Isolated by Controlled Hemolysis on September 13, 2011. Her total average grade on the BSc and MSc studies was 9.43. In October 2011, Zorka Đurić enrolled in the PhD studies at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Department of Materials Engineering.

She was the laureate the Panta Tutundžić Fund Prize, awarded by the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade for outstanding results during studies, in 2008/2009 and 2009/2010.

She has been working at the Institute of Technical Sciences of SASA since April 2012.
