On September 25, 2025, a three-member running team named “SILNA,” consisting of associates of the Institute of Technical Sciences of SASA: Dr. Smilja Marković, deputy captain, Dr. Darko Kosanović, and Dr. Nina Obradović, took part in the traditional business race in Belgrade (Belgrade Business Run) at Ada Ciganlija. They achieved commendable personal results and placed 414th as a team with a total time of 1:47:41 (the three best results over 5 km). After the race, a party was organized for all participants (burgers, drinks, and the music band Girls, boys and toys).
The participation of the “SILNA” team, alongside more than 10,000 runners from Belgrade’s business community, contributed to greater visibility and positioning of the Institute of Technical Sciences of SASA not only as a leader in scientific and innovative activity, but also as an institution promoting a healthy work–life balance, supported by recreational running and colleagues socializing outside working hours. The task for next year is to improve the results and encourage more colleagues to take part in this unique race.
