Prof. Dr. Bojan Marinković, Director of the Department of Chemistry and Materials Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), visited the Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts on 1-8 October 2025, within the framework of the Agreement on Culture, Education, and Science signed between the two institutions in April 2018.
During working meetings with Dr. Lidija Mančić and Dr. Smilja Marković, Prof. Dr. Bojan Marinković was able to get a deeper insight into the research carried out at ITS SASA in the fields of optically active nanomaterials and electrochemical sensors. This will help shape and define future directions for collaboration.

During his stay in Belgrade, Prof. Dr. Bojan Marinković also visited the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, where he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ivana Stojković Simatović.
