Dr. Zoran Stojanović, Senior Research Associate, and Nina Tomić, PhD candidate and Research Associate, members of the Group for Biomedical Engineering and Nanobiotechnology at ITS SASA, participated in the ExcellMater Conference 2024: Innovative Biomaterials for Novel Medical Devices, held at the Science and Technology Park in Belgrade, 10-12 April 2024.
Dr. Zoran Stojanović presented a study titled GPT4 aided biomaterials research use case: stabilization of selenium nanoparticles with proteins during the poster session, while Nina Tomić delivered a short oral presentation alongside her poster titled Composite based on resveratrol and selenium as an antioxidative component in tissue engineering.
The conference ExcellMater Conference 2024: Innovative Biomaterials for Novel Medical Devices was organized as part of the Horizon 2020 project Twinning to excel materials engineering for medical devices – ExcellMater (GA 952033). It gathered experts and researchers in the field of biomaterials, aiming to present the latest achievements in biomaterials science, the translation of research into clinical practice, new medical devices, and opportunities for the commercialization of new biomaterials.
