Research areas
Dr. Darko Kosanović's research activities are focused on the field of materials science, primarily the field of synthesis and characterization of oxide nanomaterials (nanopowders and consolidated forms) that have applications in electronics. His research activities have specifically been related to the development of the controlled synthesis of electroceramics (titanium dioxide oxide systems, solid-phase reactions, the study of mechanochemical reactions, consolidation processes, pressing, study of nucleation, and crystal growth during sintering). He explores new materials based on barium strontium titanate, i.e. its synthesis under controlled conditions of mechanical activation and sintering for further functional application in the electronics industry.
