Research areas

Research activities of Dr. Ana Stanković focus on the synthesis and characterization of zinc oxide-based materials, examination of the antimicrobial activity of ZnO powders and their toxicity. In particular, she studies the process of photocatalysis and degradation of different polluting compounds in the presence of ZnO particles under the influence of visible light.

Fields of interest: zinc oxide, nanostructural materials, synthesis, photocatalytic activity, antimicrobial properties of ZnO
